

Linda Inez Brown was born on November 6, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to parents John and Rose (Boyd) Neighbors and entered into eternal rest on December 20,2014 at the age of 69. Linda was known as “Maw Maw" by her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially Bob Stryker. She loved gospel music and attending church at Cedar Creek Church of God in Gun Barrel City. Linda, one of ten children, a graduate of Mabank High School worked as a home health care aide for the last fifteen years. Linda was a very loving, caring grandmother, mother and sister and will be missed by all that knew her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Lewis Neighbors, Pat Neighbors, Morris “ Butch” Neighbors, and Jerry Neighbors, sisters; Dorothy Thayne and Alice Hamilton.
She is survived by; Daughter, Ella Dawn Burns of Gonzales, LA, grandsons, Luke Talamantes and wife Ashley, Tadd Talamantes and wife Nickie of Gonzales, LA, , granddaughter, Chole Flores of Baton Rouge, great- grandson Jaxton Talamantes and great-granddaughter Aubrey Talamantes of Baton Rouge, LA, LA, sisters; Christine Lewis of Mabank, Jody Groom of Mabank, LaVern Morton and husband Jerry of Eustace, fiancé Bob Stryker of Mabank, God-daughter Julianne Dorrell of Log Cabin, God-son Benjamin Dickson of Longview, other loving family members and a host of friends.
