A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Ingleside Baptist Church Chapel, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon GA 31210. Burial will be at Macon Memorial, 3969 Mercer University Dr., Macon GA 31204 with Dr. Tim McCoy and the Rev. Matthew Michael officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 in the Ingleside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Mr. Michael was born in Lawrenceburg TN on December 13, 1930. He served in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Korea. Following his discharge from the Army, he attended and graduated from Mississippi State University. He was an Industrial Engineer at Warner Robins Air Force Base and retired in 1985.
After retirement, Mr. Michael began a second career. He was ordained into the ministry and faithfully pastored at Log Cabin Baptist Church in Macon GA, New Richland Baptist Church in Jeffersonville GA and Chamblee Memorial Baptist Church in Ft Valley GA. He retired from the ministry at the age of 80.
He was predeceased by his son, Ron Michael; his parents, Maude and Collins Michael; his brothers James Michael and Paul Michael; his sisters Beatrice Michael, Maddie Methvin and Mageline Springer.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann Jackson Michael; his brother J. C. Michael of Lawrenceburg TN; his sons James Michael (Julie), Garry Michael (Beverly) and Victor Michael (Shaye), his daughter-in-law Rhonda Poole Michael; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
