Zephie L. Lambert

Zephie L. Lambert, 56, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 27, 2018, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 11, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Gene and Wanda (Gilbert) Burriss.

An area homemaker most of her life, she was loving, caring, generous and had a heart of gold. Zephie enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and being with her family and friends. Fishing and camping were high on her list of favorite activities.

Zephie is survived by two daughters, Amanda Lambert (Robert Beasley) and Diana (Gary) Brock, both of Mansfield; her partner of 18 years, Mike Chapman; four grandchildren, Braylen Beasley, Treyden Beasley, Conner Brock and Aliana Brock; two brothers, Barry (Karrie) Burriss of Ashland and David Burriss of Mansfield; two nieces, Felecia Rusiska and Ashley Lewis, both of Ashland; and a nephew, Seth Burriss of Ashland. She is preceded in death by her parents and best friend, Ronnie Lambert, the father of her children.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Rev. Gary Lambert will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
