She graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1952. She received a degree from Nixon Clay Commercial College in 1955 and worked in banking and finance for over 68 years. In March of 2022, she retired from Arrowhead Bank after 20 years of service.
Juanelle loved sports. As a catcher, playing softball for the Marble Falls Phillies was a great joy in her life. One of her highlights was playing softball with her Aunt DeeDee. As a season ticket holder, she enjoyed watching the Marble Falls Mustang football team play on Friday nights.
She joined First Baptist Church of Marble Falls in 1949 and valued many deep meaningful relationships. She taught youth Sunday School for many years and chaperoned countless choir and youth trips as a youth sponsor. She loved singing in the choir and being a part of the annual Christmas Pageant. Juanelle was a faithful member and servant of the HOPE Class.
Juanelle was a caring and loving lady with a zest for life. She loved baking for people and was known to bake a dozen pies in a weekend to give away during the week. She deeply loved her extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. It was her great joy to do life with her friends and family.
She is survived by her eldest son Keith McDaniel and wife Jill, son Terry McDaniel and wife Brenda, and daughter-figure Kimberly Hightower Baumgardner and husband Tyson; her brothers, Daniel New and Gail New; her grandchildren Randy McDaniel, LeAnn Lewis and husband Jeremy, Calvin McDaniel and wife Kelsey, Jessica McDaniel, and Lynette and Lucy Baumgardner; great grandkids Cody McDaniel, Cason McDaniel, Aidan McDaniel Brooks, Mattie Lewis, and Laney Lewis. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 5–7 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 Hwy 281 N., Marble Falls, Texas. The funeral will be Thursday, September 22nd,10 AM at First Baptist Church Marble Falls and interment following at Marble Falls Cemetery.
