Carol Jean Wilson

She was born December 10, 1939 in Chicago to Robert and Florence (Lehnert) Jauch.

Carol loved everything medieval. She was a voracious reader. Her family was also incredibly important to her and she enjoyed any time spent with them.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Thornton, Laurie (Mike) Collins, Minor (Anabel) Wilson; her 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Sandra (Rich) Morrison, Larry Jauch, and Susan (Ed) Ryman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Wilson; her son, Charles “Chuckie” Wilson; and her brother, Robert “Bobby” Jauch.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9pm on Thursday, March 22 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo. There will be a service at 7pm.

Interment will be at 11am on Friday, March 23 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights.
