Walter Kranz, Jr.

Age 80, died December 14, 2014; born October 28, 1934 to Walter and Clara (Butler) Kranz, Sr. Walter was a lifelong resident of Mason; owner/operator of his farm. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and tractor pulling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Merwil; daughter, Debra Smith; sons, Brian and William Kranz; and sister, Dorothy Shaw. Surviving to cherish his memory is his daughter, Jacqueline A. Kranz; grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Brandon Smith, Chanel Bailey, Andrew Bailey; great grandchildren, Camden Smith and Wiley Smith; brother, Stanley Kranz and his sister, Thelma Hines. The Funeral service for Mr. Kranz will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI with interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
