David Clayton Reed

David C. Reed, age 65 of Miamisburg, passed away on Wednesday May 20, 2026. He was proceeded in death by his father Gerald Reed and mother Janet Reed, ex-spouse Dianne Reed, and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his daughter Amanda (Dustin) Strutton, son Jake Reed, brother Dan Reed, sister Delinda Reed Pierce, grandchildren Mason and Sophia Strutton, and several nieces and nephews. David always loved watching NASCAR racing especially cheering on Dale Earnhardt, loved working on cars, his 2 dogs Lucy and Belle, and camping with his family. He always made others laugh with his ornery sense of humor and loved German chocolate cake on his birthday and peanut butter fudge at Christmas. He worked as an auto-parts manager over the years at Genuine Auto Parts, Miamisburg Auto, and Pierson Automotive in Middletown. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held for David for family and friends to gather at the American Legion in downtown Miamisburg on Sunday June 7th from 3-6pm. A burial service will be held for family at Hillgrove cemetery at a later date.
