Helen Lucille Cochran Holston – a 96 year-old native of Waynesboro, MS and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. She was a longtime member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church and retired from Mobile Infirmary as a Unit Coordinator after 24 years of service.
Mrs. Holston was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Holston. She is survived by her children, Barbara H. Simmons, Edward M. Holston, Jr. (Evelyn), and Donald L. Holston (Dianne); 9 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Sunday, October 5, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery on Monday, October 6, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 900 Western America Cir., Ste. 101, Mobile, AL 36609 or the Baptist Children’s Home, 6512 Grelot Rd., Mobile, AL 36695.
