

Mrs. Rubye Charlyne Taylor Jackson – a native of Evergreen, AL born January 10, 1931 and resident of Moss Point, MS died Monday, August 1, 2011 at Providence Hospital. Mrs. Jackson was a lifelong member of Bethel Assembly of God in Pascagoula, MS and she honored the Lord by serving others. She received her greatest joy by being with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rubye Taylor; brothers, Charles, Calvin, and Bob Taylor; brother-in-law, Preston Tomlinson, and beloved sister and friend, Annice McGhee. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband, Leonard C. Jackson; three daughters, Debbie Pierce, Kathy Rayborn, and Cindy (Chuck) Foster; six grandchildren, Jessica (Trey) Howell, Ryan Porter, Lindsay (James) Hurr, Joey (Lauren) Foster, Jackson Rayborn, and Lynn-Claire Rayborn; six great-grandchildren, Connor, Ashlynn, Caden, Charleigh, Emma, and Garrison; one sister, Agnes Tomlinson; beloved nieces, nephews, many friends, including, Harold Porter. Mrs. Jackson’s family wishes to express a special thank you to all the doctors and nursing staff at Providence Hospital. “Everyone loved Mimi”. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
