Urcle Lyles Lyles Godwin

Mrs. Urcle L. Godwin – a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Friday, October 1, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Godwin was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and was the heart of the family. She was preceded in death by one son, W. D. Miller; and one brother, Erman L. Lyles. She is survived by her husband, James A. Godwin; one daughter, Joyce V. Miller; two sons, Douglas A. (Nancy) Miller & Jerry Wayne (Sandra) Godwin; one brother, Dulan Earl (Eva) Lyles; one sister, Ava L. Phillips; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Cutrer officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Tillman, Jared Miller Nelson, Caleb Nelson, Aaron Whitten, Alex Miller, Luke Miller, Austin Lyles Whitten, and W. Dulan Miller, III. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
