I am so sorry to learn of Reese’s passing. We were fellow members of the Alabama Army National Guard. I worked at the Aviation Facility in Birmingham and Reese worked at the one in Montgomery, but we shared many military flying adventures. It was an honor to know Reese and privilege to have him as a friend.

I have lots and lots of memories with my PawPaw,but the one that i always will cherish forever is from a week or two ago. I walked into his hospital room from a long days work and i gave him a hug. Minutes went by and all of a sudden he sits up and says "Momma". She replies "I'm here". He proceeds to sit up on the side of his bed and we aak what he's doing. He tells us he wants a picture. We ALLLLL say "a picture?!". He says "yeah,i wanna picture with Donovan". So we took a picture and he laid back down and took a nap. I will always remember that. Blakelyn and I will miss you and you are always in our hearts, minds and soon to be remembered by tattoo in remembrance of you. Love you!!!
