Ruth E Taylor

Ruth Edwards Taylor, beloved wife of William L. (Bill) Taylor (deceased) and longtime resident of Montgomery and Prattville passed away on September 13th 2016, a few days past her 94th birthday. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 15th with the service at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jim Salminen. Pallbearers will be Alan Christian, Will Christian, Dustin Taylor, Andrew Moncrief, John Corley, James Hamrick, Michael Williams, Ben Williams and Trey Goings. She was the cherished Mother of four children, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Mildred Frasa, her granddaughter Cyndi Christian, grandson Wilds Dubose IV and son in law Lawson Goings. She is survived by sons, Alan Taylor (Leska) and Rick Taylor (Jane Ellen), daughters Kay Morris (John) and Jan Goings. Grandchildren, Alan Christian (Sherri) Candice Durden (Luke) Dustin Taylor (Claudia) Julie Goings, Brandy Williams (Michael) Trey Goings (Alicia) Margo Hamrick (James) Marshall Morris, Allison Sullivan (Jason) Ryan Morris (Stephanie) and Jerry Vann.

The family truly appreciates all of the prayers and support that we have received during this difficult time. We also would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at Baptist East ICU Step Down and 1 East.
