Antoinette Agnello Cerce

Ann was born on June 26, 1923 to Pasquale and Ursula (Ippolito) Agnello in Ossining, NY. She graduated from Ossining High School in 1941and married Louis R. Cerce on February 11, 1950. She worked at Maryknoll from 1940-1951. She was employed with the Ossining Public School System for 25 years. After retirement, Ann enjoyed volunteering at St. Augustine School as their librarian for almost 25 years. She also volunteered at the Montrose Veterans Hospital. She was a well loved member of the Graymoor Community and Chorale.

Ann was the loving mother to Louis R. Cerce, Jr. of Garrison and Marianne Vitale and her husband John from Poughkeepsie. She was the adoring grandmother to Jeffrey Callan and his wife Anita and Tim Callan. She was a great grandmother to Jeffrey Jr. “JJ” who was very precious to her. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Mae Natlo of CT, Rosalie Agnello of TN and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Louis R. Cerce, Sr., brothers Michael, Joseph, Anthony, Paul and Frank Agnello and a sister Madelyn (Dolly) Agnello.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 2-6 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, December 20th at St. Augustine’s Church in Ossining, NY. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
