To Jill, Dee, Kevin and Pecoraro family,
Our sincere & heart felt sympathies.
John will be missed. He leaves us with the gift of fond memories of a person with a quick wit, genuine smile and warm demeanor.
We will never forget the welcome greeting we received more than 20 years ago having relocated to Findlay. Our daughters share a fast and treasured friendship that continues to this day. Clearly Jill inherited many of her parent’s best attributes.
The last conversation is now a cherished memory. John removing Christmas decorations as we were going for a walk. Friendly banter included the Cleveland Browns, world events and taking care of family.
John’s passing is a constant reminder that personal relationships are a gift to savor in the moment.
Condolences and Peace be with the entire Pecoraro family.

J.P. was one of the few very special people I worked with at C.T.R. He had the unique gift of making each one he met feel that they were special and a good friend even if he had just met you for the first time. I believe that he was one of the BEST marketing people that ever worked at Cooper. And, his humor... - that was a special gift too!
I knew Dee as well and always thought, "J.P. has become who he is as a result of being married to Dee."
Will miss J.P. and pray that you, Dee, and the family will experience God's presence and comfort at this time and long into the future.

Dee, Jill, Kevin... We are heartbroken. We adored Johnny. His personality just shined. We will miss the good times of getting together for dinner, vacations together, and all of the neighborly chats and backyard beer and wine get togethers. He embraced life, and we are forever grateful that he was in our lives. We are richer for knowing him. We will miss him terribly.

Dee, Jill and Kevin -
I am so sorry for your loss. John was a good man and always had a twinkle in his eye, especially when he talked about each of you. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with him for many years and he taught me everything I know about a tire. He set the example for so many with his hard work, dedication and loyalty. I was lucky to know him and he will be missed! I hope that your memories bring you comfort and peace.

To the Pecoraro family,
I'll never forget the free driving tour of Pierre Part that John gave me! He was great to have a conversation with in the few times I spoke with him and I could genuinely feel his kindness. Jill always spoke (and continues to speak) so highly of him. What wonderful memories you will always have. My deepest condolences and love to you all.

Dee,
Roy and I where sad to here of John’s unexpected passing. John was always fun to be around and could bring a smile to anyone with his conversations and gracious ways. He was a true Cooper guy and knew his business well. I always looked forward to seeing him at Cooper Service Center when ever I needed help which he readily offered, along with nice conversations about our families. He was a very kind man and will be missed by all.
We hope you find peace during this difficult time and cherish all the wonderful memories you have as his wife and family. Prayers and strength to you.

Dee and Family,
So sorry to hear about Johnny P (JP).
I always looked forward to seeing him throughout the week. I miss his ‘It’s TARS - This Ain’t Rocket Science’. I have learned so much from him. And gained even more respect when seeing him in action on the phone taking care of customers. One of a kind.
He always looked forward to ‘taking a ride in the Mustang’. He spoke highly of you, Jill and Kevin. He was so proud of his family. Miss his jambalaya he would bring in. So many great memories. So many laughs and smiles.
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

I will always cherish the days we worked together and more importantly the friendship that we had. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Dear Dee, Jill, and Kevin,
There are no words to convey how heartbroken I was to hear of Johnny’s passing. You have my deepest sympathy and you’ve been in my prayers every day. I’ve alternated between tears at losing such an incredible friend, then smiling when remembering all the fun times and his hilarious stories.
Dee, I felt so honored when Johnny asked me to stay with Jill and Kevin when you both went on the Cooper incentive trips. What awesome kids: Kevin, so smart, funny, & already impressing the young ladies in 3rd grade; and Jill, so outgoing & talented, just like her beloved daddy! Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your loving family!
Wish I could be there in person to give ya’ll a big hug. May all the wonderful memories help to bring comfort and healing to your hearts.
Love you and miss you, Johnny P! You touched so many lives. Your legend will definitely live on!

John was such a joy to be around.
He told stories with such detail and and humor, they needed no punchline, though often one was provided.
To me, John embodied the perfect mix of analytical curiosity and southern charm. Serious, fun, interesting and most assuredly entertaining to talk to and listen to.
His easy manner and contagious laugh, I will greatly miss.
Sara and I send our prayers and love to Dee and the family.

Rhonda and I are so very sorry for your loss & our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. We have so many great memories of the times we were able to spend together with you and John. I have many memories of John coming out to work with me back in the Cooper days. Every time he came out, I would always look forward to it, because I never looked at it as a business get together, but more of reuniting with a good friend. When John walked into a room, his smile would light up the room. Over the years, I learned so much from John, but more than anything, I learned the importance of fellowship. Our hearts are sad, but his legacy will live on, and I’m sure JP stories will continue to be told many years into the future. We will miss you my friend.

Dee and Family, I am so sorry for this incredible loss. John was such a genuine and charismatic person who people were just automatically drawn to. Loved being part of the Cooper family with him. Praying that God will comfort you as only He can through this difficult time. So very sorry.

Dee and family,
We are so sorry for your loss and are keeping you in prayer. As many have mentioned John was a mentor and teacher to so many of us at Cooper. He was never too busy for a conversation, a story or to give sound advice. John loved all things automotive, including motorcycles, which we talked about frequently. RIP my friend.

John was one of my favorite people at Cooper. We spent so much time together on the “rubber chicken circuit” as he called it, doing dealer meetings, laughing, singing many an old ditty that only he and I seemed to know. Will miss you Pec, your smile brightened up any room and your laugh was one of a kind. Love ya, Bernie

Absolutely, unequivocally, one of a kind! The world lost one of the best people EVER. I remember my days as a marketing assistant when the entire sales staff was “sizing me up,” but John spent his time mentoring, and worked to cement another friend in this world. I told you this many times John, but I never forgot your kindness and your genuine heartfelt interest in ME. My heart is broken over this news. The dealers loved you, and you had an uncanny way to “tell it like it is” in the home office. Unfortunately, some didn’t like to hear the truth. I am going to miss you my friend, but please know that you were dearly loved. What a blessing you were to ALL that met you.
To Dee, Jill, Kevin and Faye, there was never a better husband, father, and grandpa. He loved you all so much and always talked about you. Karen and I pray for peace for all of you. I love you Johnny P!

Dee and Family,
Cathy and I have struggled to find the right words to express our condolences to you and your family. JP was such a gentleman and such a genuine person.
Johnny P always had a way to put a smile on your face not one day but every day of his life. I will never forget his willingness to always offer help and mentoring whether it was during our work life or our everyday friendship.
We lost a truly remarkable person on January 30th and we are proud to consider John not only a colleague at Cooper Tire but more importantly a friend. John truly made a difference in this world and loved every minute of it!
Please accept our sympathy and please know you have all our support during this very challenging time. Stay strong.

I was so sad to learn of Johnny's passing. Although the years and miles have separated us, I have many fond memories of him and his family. The Pecoraros were our backyard neighbors, and Johnny's youngest sister Kathy was a dear friend. They were a warm and wonderful family, and Johnny was the older brother with a keen eye and a sharp wit that kept us both on our toes. I'll always remember his laugh, his honesty, and his determination . The memory of him barreling around the neighborhood on his bike with an enormous basket of newspapers, flinging them onto driveways with such accuracy and speed makes me smile. My sincere condolences to Dee, Jill and Kevin, and may God bless for Johnny for a life well lived.

Johnny and I were best friends from grades 1-12. He was the paperboy for our neighborhood and together we ran a paper route in high school. He was always known as "Peck" to his school buddies.
He once had a part time job at a neighborhood tire store and I know that peaked his interest in tires and all things auto.
We drifted apart when he moved to Ohio.
I can't believe he is gone!
My deepest sympathies to Dee, Jill, Kevin and all his family.

We found out what a small world it really is when John realized he had grown up eating ice cream and Monster Burgers at my uncle’s Dairy Delites in Baton Rouge. I always enjoyed talking about our Louisiana connection, and that he knew my aunt and uncle personally. John was a wonderful human being with the best sense of humor. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers. It is indeed a sad day to think of a world without John Pecoraro in it.

I am so saddened to hear this news. John was such a remarkable and personable man. I talked to him so many times via phone when he still lived in Louisiana, filling Cooper advertising material orders for him and his dealers. His conversations were always kind and often humerous which always made our work more enjoyable. I was so happy to see him come to Findlay where conversations could be face to face. Loved his stories and his smile. He will be so missed by many. Condolences to Dee and his family.

Dear Dee, Jill and Kevin, I can say that John had a huge impact on people as far away as Australia where he came to visit us at Exclusive Tyres on many occasions in his roles with Cooper. We experienced his knowledge, enthusiasm and wit, but most importantly he became a friend. We were all shocked and saddened by his untimely passing. I also have the privilege of being dubbed JP2 by him because he was already JP.
Robyn Dashnaw mentioned his famous dartboard. Here he is with it and the exasperated expression was due to me asking for another impossible request for a new tire. But he had the incredible knack of making the impossible, possible and through that he helped our company grow! His contribution to us will always be appreciated and his legacy will live on well into the future! Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Jill and I have been best friends for almost 15 years. The times I saw "Jill's dad," as he was known to me, or spoke on a video chat with him, it always struck me what a kind and considerate person he was. He always asked how my kids were, how was the family. My favorite memory is when Jill was moving to Cleveland to go to grad school, and we drove up to look at apartments. For whatever reason we took two cars, and when we got out, he said "I like those Cooper tires on your car, Enid. Nice to see those Cooper tires." Jill and I still laugh about it. I felt so proud, because he was the kind of man you wanted to make proud. I know how much he will be missed by his family, and my heart breaks for losing him too soon. But I know he will not ever stop being loved.

My deepest sympathy to Dee and all of John's family. I, like so many others at Cooper, have leaned on John throughout my career as a mentor, but more importantly, as a friend. Dee and Family,
I was greatly saddened when I learned of John's passing. He was such a sweet man with a big heart. Early in my career at Cooper Tire he arrived in the legal department for a meeting. He introduced himself and I did the same. At some point after that when he saw me somewhere he would call me "the divine Ms. DeVene". Every time I think of him I just smile. He will be fondly remembered by so many people.
Praying for comfort and healing during this difficult time. God bless you all.

Dee and family,
You all have no idea how much we talk about you and every story is told with big smiles and much laughter - just the way JP would. Respect for this man is an understatement. Saying everyone loved the Pecoraros is also an understatement. We always told him he should write a book of "Johnnie-isms" but they will live on in memory. We miss you, pray for you, thinking of you and will never forget you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! John was such an extraordinary person and a mentor to a lot of folks at Cooper. I remember the dart board in his office to assist with forecasting! I also remember him taking the time with me to go over every product in our Cooper brand offering in detail before I went out into the salesforce. It was Tires 101 and more. He helped prepare me for that big leap and I will always be grateful!

Dee,
John was such a light. The stories and laughter at the Cooper lunch table often had John at the very center. Can’t think of a time that someone wasn’t stopping to speak to John or John wasn’t stopping to speak to them. He appeared to charm most everyone. We certainly enjoyed talking about the exploits of the Tigers. One just couldn’t come away from a conversation with John without a chuckle that did the heart good.
Our deepest condolences to you and the entire family. Prayers up for you all.

John was one of the most authentic people I have ever had the pleasure to know. It is nearly impossible to say his name without a smile immediately coming to your face as you remember one of his famous stories. Nobody could tell a story better than John. As both a friend and colleague, he was always curious, always learning and always willing to share with others to help them along the path. John was one of the early mentors I had when I joined Cooper. He was a smart and accomplished businessman and among all things, he knew the value of relationships. And over the years, I never met anybody that knew tire sizes and applications better than John. He loved his family, his coworkers and his friends with great enthusiasm. It is said that a legacy is something that we leave. With John, he lived his legacy, sharing his joy and kindness and making the world a better place.
With appreciation,
