away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 94.
The First of fourteen siblings, Zelda enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and writing. She enjoyed many hobbies in life but her great joy was spending time with her family and friends at their many get-togethers. She was the kind of unique individual that if you were ever blessed to have met her, you would never forget her. She was a humorous person who easily brought smiles to the faces of others. Her laugh was contagious. Her remarkable personality left many beautiful memories for those who knew and loved her.
Zelda leaves to cherish her loving memory, her daughter, Dale Hubert and her husband, Thomas, of Oregon; her four sons, Francis Fromenthal and his wife, Vanessa, of Berwick, Charles Fromenthal and his wife, Kayla, of Baton Rouge, John Fromenthal and his wife, Cheryl, of Morgan City, and Corey Fromenthal of Morgan City; ten grandchildren, Jason Hubert, Theresa Boehm, Sarah McGloghlon, Todd Fromenthal, Heather Fromenthal, Kelsey Lavergne, Bryce Fromenthal, Drake Fromenthal, Emily Fromenthal, and Ashley Fromenthal; three great grandchildren, Remington, Harrison, and Braedan; three brothers, Justin "Sonny" Sons of Hessmer, Barry Sons of Breaux Bridge, and Jimmy Sons
of Missouri; three sisters, Irma Lee Lombes of Bayou Vista, Diane Sheehan of Berwick, and Paulette Wilson of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis "Boo" J. Fromenthal; her parents, Julian and Lydia Granier Sons; four brothers, Lloyd Sons, Horace Sons, Myrvel Sons, and Ballard Sons; and three sisters, Shirley Mae Rock, Myrtleen Sons, and Leola Sons.
The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 6pm to 9pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City and again on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 8am until time of dismissal at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am with burial following in the Berwick Cemetery.
