Elsie “Marie” Fuson, 93 of Nashville died Saturday morning in I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. She was born October 17, 1925 in Akron, Ohio to Ernest Cowger and Elsie Gregory Cowger. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Dennis (wife Judy) Fuson of Portage, Michigan, Cheryl Hardin of Stockbridge, Georgia and Donald Fuson of Gaylord, Michigan; five grandchildren, Chris Hardin, Chad Fuson, Rachael Potter, Sarah Sipes and Benjamin Fuson; and 5 great grandchildren and soon to be 6. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William “Parker” Fuson.
Memberships include the Nashville Christian Church and she had been active with the Brown County Historical Society.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North. Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Patrick Glasser and family friend Jerry Rose officiating, burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
