8 juillet 1934 – 10 juillet 2025
Avis de décès de Louise Huguette Schneider
AUX SOINS DE

Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home & Cemeteries

Louise H. Schneider, 91, of Indian Wells, California, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025. Born on July 8, 1934, in St. Jean, Quebec, Canada, Louise— affectionately known as Lou Lou by her grandchildren -was admired for her adventurous spirit and fierce independence. At just 19, she courageously left her small hometown to begin a new life in the United States, setting the tone for a life defined by resilience and new beginnings.

She is survived by her children from her first marriage to John Price: Michele Seiver, Kim Crosby, and Carter John Price. Later, she married Gene Schneider, with whom she shared the remainder of her life until his passing. Louise was a devoted grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren.

She loved to golf, play bridge, tend her vegetable garden, knit, and needlepoint. She was a wonderful cook and entertained frequently. If you knew her then you will know that there are no words to describe, in this space, her joie de vivre.
