Robert “Bob” Kreutzer joined family and friends in heaven on October 23, 2016. His journey began in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He then met the love of his life Pat Thomas while working for her father at Thomas Electric in Marshfield and AAA Electric in Park Falls, WI later purchasing the businesses in 1972. Bob and Pat retired to southwest Florida in 1986 and enjoyed living and playing golf at Wildcat Run in Estero. As a golf lover Bob was very proud of his hole in one. With a sense of humor and a warm smile Bob brought laughter to those he met. There wasn’t a story or a joke that he could not tell. Bob loved playing cards and gambling, especially in Las Vegas. His singing voice added celebration at church and to many wedding ceremonies. His delivery of poetry never ceased to amaze. Occasionally he would break out into his memorized favorite Antoine D’Arcy’s “Face upon the Barroom Floor”. He created numerous stained glass pieces for family and friends and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan to the end. Bob will be forever remembered for his kindness and gentle spirit and deeply missed by his wife Pat of 57 years Fort Myers, FL, daughter Peri (Steve) Tyink, grandchildren Alex (Erin) and Stephanie Tyink of Appleton, WI. His special companion Angel will miss her constant petting and treats from “dad”. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Community, 5632 Sunrise Dr., Fort Myers at 11:30 AM Saturday October 29th with burial service at a later date in Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers a memorial in honor of Bob has been established at Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida, 18011 S. Tamiami Trail #16-106, Fort Myers, FL 33908. www.ourmothershome.com Bob’s family would like to extend special thanks for the many prayers and dedicated support of extended family and friends as well as the compassionate care offered by Hope Hospice in his final days. Arrangements have been entrusted to the National Cremation and Burial Society.
