Elsie and Charles Wraith send their condolence to Tom,Maggy and rest of family. Ian and Carole were dear friends  to us and the best neighbours anyone could have in this life. They are both missed  by us and the rest of our family who experienced  and share the same sentiment.

Tom and family :  Thank you so much for your condolences.  But, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.  We had no idea.
We had many great memories of the family Christmas Parties and our many trips to Hawaii.  Hopefully the wonderful memories will comfort us now.

Like Johnny said, it was like growing up with two Moms, and going downtown was always a great adventure.  It was great Carole worked at Cleveland Twist Drill, they had their company picnic at Euclid Beach Park each year which meant two things, summer break from school and the greatest time at the park, all the rides, cotton candy, ice cream, popcorn, popcorn balls and helium balloons!  Thinking about Carole's goodness makes me realize I can't remember her ever yelling at us, or anyone.  She was always the peaceful one.  Even though we lived our adult lives hundreds of miles apart, I'm sure Rosie and Johnny would agree, Carole and her family were always in our hearts and minds.  Church was a big part of our family life growing up.  I know Carole is in Heaven because Jesus said so.  (Jesus is speaking to Martha): JOHN 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.  Do you believe this?" (Martha answered "Yes Lord").  Another scripture that comes to mind is JOHN 14:1-4 "Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God, trust also in me.  In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going".

Sal and I were so sorry to hear of Carole's passing.  She was certainly a very special lady.  She loved her family so much and shared so many stories about her travels and her grandchildren. We loved spending so much time with Carole and Ian  in Hawaii, their and our favorite place in all the world.  May love and all your cherished memories bring you comfort at this difficult time.

Condolences to Tom and Family from the Lennox Family,
Carol is fondly remember by Karolina Lennox  as a long time friend from the" lunch room" days at Kingslake Public School. The yearly Christmas parties that Carol and Ian hosted will always remain as fond memories of a wonderful time given by a  generous and loving couple. Carol will be sadly missed and always remembered as a kind and caring friend.

My oldest sister was someone who I considered to be a second Mom to me. I can't say how old I was when I would get on a bus by myself and go to downtown Cleveland to met Carole. Probably no older then 10, she would be waiting at the bus stop for me.  Carole would take me shopping and then buy dinner at a buffet restaurant.  One of my fondest memories.  Another memory later in life that showed me, how good and nice she was. I have told this story many times.  Probably in the late 1980's we went to Costco when my family and I were visiting them in Canada. I remember walking in the door and Carole and Ian were recognized by name and a hug!
Then we walked though the store and as we were approaching a free sample station the lady yells out "Carole, Ian" and also gives them a hug. I realized they must have been leading a good and loving life together. 
I will miss Carole and will always Love and remember her as someone I would like to hang out with.   Love, John

Tom & family.  So very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing.  She was a wonderful friend to my mom over the years. 

I asked my mom over and over for ten years to come to Cuba. She finally agreed to accompany us in April of 2007 and had a fantastic time. She returned numerous times and made many friends who carry her in their hearts still to this day. We all have beautiful memories of her times on vacation with us in our special part of the world that we were able to share with her and my dad.

My dearest sister and friend forever. A kind loving woman that guided many of us through life. She suffered but now is free from pain and back with her loving husband. We’ll be together again in heaven. What a joyous reunion it will be. Love you always. Your sister Rose Marie.
