Isabel was a beautiful, gentle person who was known for her active involvement in church life and charitable giving. She was a prayer warrior and evangelist. She supported many church and para church ministries, helped students to go to college through financial giving, and financially supported missionaries to be able to minister to communities and foreign nations. Her faith in Christ was the primary reason for her love for people and generosity to those who were in need.
Isabel was also known for her wonderful cooking and hospitality. She made friends easily and was a good confidant to many who needed a “listening ear” or a “shoulder to lean on”. She welcomed many to her home to her home who needed comfort and shelter, and she made herself available to others to go where they were to minister to them.
She was also astute in many subjects, and was a constant student. Not only did she pray and read from the Bible, she took courses to further her knowledge of Scripture and read books to learn more about how to interpret Scripture and understand theology. She enjoyed participating in in many bible study groups over the years and even helped teach Sunday School for small children and adults.
Isabel was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Jim, her daughter Christine, son-in-law Ted, and grandchildren Isaiah, Isabelle, and Elijah> She always took the time to take care of her loved ones and pray over them. Her godly example of living and loving will always be cherished by her family.
In loving memory of my mother,
Christine Caballero Poston
My wife Isabel was a God-fearing woman, a precious jewel treasured, loved, respected and honored by her husband Jaime and daughter Christine. A hardworking and sweet woman, the right hand of her husband, she led her family in all cases by example. Her heartfelt desires to help was always placed first in to action within the family’s capabilities. She planned family activities and executed her desires with precision and perfection.
Oh, my wonderful, loving wife Isabel, it was only yesterday when I married you, becoming one; “How short is life, how full of trouble. You blossomed like a flower and then withered. Like a passing shadow, you quickly disappeared”. I will always be the true and loving husband you could always rely, trust and depend on. I will always love you!
Always your loving husband,
Jaime Caballero, Jr.
