My precious little Momma was the light of my life and specially in her later years and I miss her desperately. She was the reason I learned how to share when I was able with an open heart. She taught me compassion for my fellow man. She taught me how to be strong and stand on my own two feet. I never doubted her love. She was always there for me when I needed a shoulder or when I needed advice. I know one day in glory we will meet again.
 

Up can't sleep thinking of you. I was looking to come visit you today for our monthly visit but couldn't reach you or Sherry by phone. I knew then something was wrong.

I met you 2 years ago and what a pleasure it was to serve you. I will miss your sweet smile and visiting with you and Sherry each month. Most times I would save you for my last visit 
of the day because I knew that no matter how my day was going or had gone, when I walked into your home I was sure to be welcomed with a smile and good conversation from you and Sherry. 

Sherry job well done caring for your mother. I will miss you both.

The first time I walked into your home til the last day I sat with you, I felt nothing but Love and warmth. Being married to your daughter was a blessing that changed my life forever. The way you made me feel was a major part of that. I was not just your son-in-law, you would say I was your son.
Darla would say "she loves to cook for you" and there you be, trying to prepare a meal when I knew you weren't feeling your best.
When T.J. was born and you held him in your arms, it looked like he was already half your size with your small frame, what a sight!
Thank you for sharing your daughter, your family, and your love. T.J. and I will miss you dearly and Love you forever.

Jessie,  I remember all the big dinners you came to our home with Sherry and Joe.  You always came in smiling your sweet smile. We always enjoyed having you with us. You were so very special to everyone,  I loved you dearly. 
Sherry,  thank you so much for sharing your mom with us. You gave your mother the best care anyone could give. I know there were many times you were totally exhausted,  but you stayed strong and dedicated to her care.  God bless you!

My mother was one of the strongest and most determined woman I have ever known.  Always there for her children regardless of the circumstance.  She never met a stranger and was always willing to help those less fortunate than she was even when her need was great.  She was funny and endearing when it counted the most. She love all children.  She was my hero.
