Elizabeth Margaret Donnarumma

passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27th 2020 surrounded by her family. Predeceased by

her loving husband John, her parents Margaret and James Dodds, her brother Joseph Hamilton

and her dog Max. Elizabeth leaves behind four daughters; Janet Doyle (husband Tim) Lynda

Donnarumma, Susan Godbout (husband Keith) Karen Donnarumma, and six grandchildren;

Danielle Peruzzi (husband Kyle) Ashley Lacasse (husband Nick) Tyler Doyle (girlfriend Jenni

Shaw), Adam Godbout, Cassidy Donnarumma and Timothy Doyle. In addition, Nana has left her

devoted canine companions Maggie and Teddy.

Born and raised in Peebles, Scotland where she attended Dean College, earning her

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Elizabeth then immigrated to New Jersey to continue her

nursing career. It is here she met her husband John and thus, their love story began. Raising four

daughters in their Budd Lake NJ home, they then retired to Florida and began their worldly

travels. John and Elizabeth spent 55 years together full of life, love, happiness and sweet

memories. Nana’s grandchildren were her pride and joy and she sacrificed herself to countless

hours spent at theme parks and falling victim to crazy antics. There truly was never a dull

moment in Elizabeth’s life.

Known for her quick-wit, creativity, compassion, and strong devotion to her family,

Elizabeth leaves behind big (but only size 5) shoes to fill. Our matriarch painted the world in

color, creating alluring flower arrangements, beautiful porcelain dolls and lush gardens. Formerly

a volunteer at Give Kids the World Village and giver to anyone in need, she was determined to

brighten the world. A shopping enthusiast and Ross’ biggest fan, a french-fry lover and

chocolate-holic, animal lover and anyone’s biggest cheerleader- it goes without saying that she

will be truly missed. A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on June 27 2020 in New Jersey. Details to follow.
