Elmer "Jack" Johnson Schneble passed away peacefully on September 26, 2017. Jack was born on November 4, 1931 in Wellsville, NY where he grew up and met his wife Helen Dean. Jack enlisted in the Army in 1957, serving for 20 years including a Vietnam tour where he earned the bronze star. He retired from the Army while stationed in Colorado and became administrator of the Health Department of Colorado Springs, later he was employed by McGraw Hill in Colorado and New York. He held various consulting positions and permanently retired at the age of 72, moving back to his hometown of Wellsville, NY, and then to Florida. Jack was active in his communities volunteering with the Serra Club and Habitat for Humanity. Jack is survived by his wife Helen, children Anne Egan (Douglas), Dean (Phyllis), John (Elizabeth) and loving grandchildren Hannah, Connor, Olivia, Sam, Finn, Jack, Alexandra and Caroline. Funeral mass scheduled for 11:00 AM on October 23 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 6330 Babcock Street NE, Palm Bay, FL.
