

Thyra Annette Graf (Beyer) who lived on this earth from May 22, 1936 to December 18, 2019, departed this life on Wednesday in Canterbury Care & Rehabilitation Center in Cedar Grove, New Jersey at the age of 83.
Thyra was born in PT Pleasant, NJ to Eugene Beyer and Elizabeth Rupp. She attended Neptune schools and graduated from Neptune High School in 1952. She was active in church, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and bowling. She loved to read, crossword puzzles knitting and crocheting.
She graduated from Bethel University in Tennessee with her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years in various degrees between in Labor and delivery (which she loved) to working in nursing homes. She lived in New Jersey and Tennessee, which she loved. She was an active member of the Methodist church wherever she lived. Whoever she met she always made you feel welcome wherever she was. She loved people and was always willing to help in any way she could.
She loved taking care of others which was why she was a great RN. She worked hard and loved whole heartedly. She will be missed.
Thyra was predeceased by her son Gregory Graf, her parents, her sister Jean Mitchell. Left to mourn her passing are one daughter, Merle Fox (Joseph), two sons, Wayne Graf (Becky) and Brian Graf. Along with six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren with nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Saturday, December 28th, 2019 at Park United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, New Jersey at 11am.
