

Jack Ralph Cook passed away July 12, 2013, at age 78. Born June 16, 1935, in Oklahoma City to Jack and Pauline Cook. He was raised in Cushing, Oklahoma and moved to Pasadena at age 17, where he graduated from Pasadena High School. Served in the United States Army, serving in Panama.
Jack loved sports, he was an avid baseball and fast pitch softball player. He continued his love for sports coaching youth football and baseball for many years. He was a loyal supporter of the Astros, the Oilers, the Texans and the Rockets, win lose or draw. He loved to play golf, and going fishing. He enjoyed spending time working in his yard. Jack kept his mind busy reading and working crossword puzzles. If anything was broken, he would patiently fix it. He was always willing to nap with his pets or the grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Russell Cook. He is survived by his wife Dianne Cook; sister Beverly Glynn; sons Rodney Cook and Ralph Cook; step-sons Randy Cox and Ryan Cox; Grandchildren Christopher Cook, Taylor Cook, Ryder Cox, Sara Cox, and Colton Cox.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
