In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas C. Johnson.

Carol or Miss Carol as she was known to many was a woman who enjoyed a good laugh, a good English mystery and that oh so important first cup of coffee in the morning. There was nothing more delicious! She was generous at her core and gave freely and easily to anyone in need. She loved giving because it brought her real joy. Over the years that I knew her I kept discovering more and more about her. I learned that she was very open to new things, she enjoyed traveling, she loved learning, she would always try new foods and new tastes and over the years she came to open her heart and it was very beautiful. I loved our visits and spoiling her for she really did appreciate the tenderness of the care. I will always remember the quiet moments we shared on her front porch watching the light change as the sun began to set, grateful for the silence that surrounded us. She loved nature and the simple things of life. She loved her family most of all. I am grateful that I had the chance to know her. I will miss her terribly.

Cindy, Steve, Mike & Family,
I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you today and in the coming days. I know that you will miss Carol terribly, but I pray that you will find comfort.
Your beautiful Mom was a very special lady, who was loved by many. She had a strong faith in God and enjoyed the beauty of life.
Today, she is at peace and in a beautiful place. May the fond memories warm your heart until you see her again.

Carol, my sista, friend, and second Mom, how do I tell you bye? You have been a part of my life since I was 18. You took me in as one of your own, which I will be eternally grateful. Oh the fun we have had! There are so many treasured memories of shopping, eating, then of course, shopping more!
You were the BEST roommate a gal could have on our Brazilian trip, our trip of a lifetime. Of course, we overpacked! Our "sistas" will continue to tell our stories for years to come. Hawaii was another favorite trip with you. You were always so proud of Cindy and visiting with her in Hawaii was just magical.
I could name so many memories over the years, but I also want to thank you for teaching me about life. You have always been driven about whatever you were doing. You never gave up! Your strength and tenacity for life influenced me. Your faith in God never wavered. You were a very strong female in my life, and I thank you for being there. I enjoyed our chats tremendously. I always admired your love for books, music, animals, flowers, and just life in general. I will think of you my friend when I am eating chocolate or enjoying a new bloom in my garden and wishing I could tell you about it.
I was looking forward to more fun adventures with you; however, the sun set too fast.
Until we meet again, keep smiling, laughing, and doing your thing!

Fond memories of visiting in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Johnson while attending college with their daughter, Cindy. Any visit with Mrs. Johnson in the years since has always been enjoyable. She loved to laugh and always was fun to visit or shop with.
I know she will be sorely missed by family and friends. Prayers for them during this time that God will comfort them with sweet memories and the promise of that reunion in Heaven.

My Dearest Mom.
A message I am sending to our Lord. I know how much you love flowers and how much you love music. Now you can have an abundance of both. I am missing you every minute of the day. I miss our daily talks and hearing your voice.
“If flowers grow in heaven,
Lord, then pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.”
With love, your daughter.

I pray blessings over Ms. Carol’s family, as they reflect on her life and accomplishments. I only know Her son Mike and his wife Robin and I do know they did all they could to make her life comfortable.
May the Lord continue to comfort in the days to come and allow Ms. Carols memories to be a joy to each other!
“The Lord bless you and keep you and to make His eyes shine upon you and give you peace.” Amen
