Shirley always reminded me so much of my mom. They looked the most alike too. She was also the one that came to visit the most. She was so nice. I wish she had lived closer. She will be missed.

I sure will miss our phone talks catching up on the family and discussing old times. You were one of my favorite aunts, you always had something good to say about people, always so easy going and caring. You had a big heart. I will miss you a lot. Love your neice from Maine, Elaine

I had two favorite aunts and Aunt Shirley was one of them. She was always so easy to talk to and very kind and caring. I will never forget my visit to Mississippi and how she made me feel like I was a second daughter, she will always hold a special place in my heart. I will forever have fond memories of her and I only wish I could have seen her one more time. She was a special lady and will be missed.
My heart goes out to you all.
Love your cousin Yvonne

Mom, you were always a light in the lives of anyone who knew you. A very caring and protective mom who loved Barry and I like no one else could. There was never a day we didn't know we were loved by you. Your sweet personality and your quick wit made you so enjoyable and precious to the entire family and in laws alike. You were the best Mom and Grandmother and we will always love you so much.
