Carol was born in Pensacola, Fl. on July 24,1939 to Mary Barrow and El Wright. She grew up in Crestview, Florida and graduated from Crestview High School. She married her first love and raised her family in Crestview.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 63 yrs Jerry L. Schofield;
one son, Mike Schofield (Cindy Platt); and their children Ryan and Kelly;
one daughter Shari Curtis (Michael); and their daughter Savanna;
one brother Tommy Grantham (Patricia); and two sisters, Linda Mattingly (Jimmy)
and Diane Harris (Mike); and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
Carol was very loved by many people. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services and a short visitation will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home on Friday Dec. 6, 2019 at 8:30 am, with a burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
A Memorial service and celebration of Carol's life will be held Friday evening at Lifepoint Church in Crestview at 5:30pm.
