Eunice J. Roseboom

She was born August 13, 1924 in Strawn, IL to Jacob and Sarah (Wanner) Baer. She married Donald E. Roseboom in 1943 and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sons, Richard and Robert Roseboom, one brother and four sisters.

Surviving are five sons, Don (Dot) Roseboom of Peoria, Gene (Linda) Roseboom of Chillicothe, John Roseboom of Marquette Heights, Roy Roseboom of Washington, and Steve Roseboom of East Peoria; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Doris Davis and Wilma Perham both of Peoria.

Eunice worked as a nurse at Proctor Hospital for many years before retiring. She will be remembered as a caring woman who loved her grandchildren, her dog Shorty, and tending her flowers.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Pastor Tim Beddingfield will officiate. Cremation will be accorded following the service and burial of the urn will be at a later date.
