Patricia Mary Bass

Patricia Mary Lynch Bass died on October 10, 2019. She was born in Waseca, MN on January 29, 1948 to Edward and Mary Lynch. She was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. She was married to Lige Bass for 20 years and had 3 children for him. She taught history and Spanish in Houston, Alief and Katy, Texas for 27 years. Patricia was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 3, 1995, in Houston, Texas. She retired early so that she could serve Jehovah full time as a regular pioneer. She went door to door as Jesus and his disciples did offering the good news from the Bible. Just as she was an excellent teacher in the public schools in Houston, she was an excellent teacher of the Bible. For the last two years of her life she served in Spanish speaking congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Minnesota and conducted Bible studies with people looking for something better right up to the week before she died. She had a firm hope in the Bible’s promise of righteous persons living forever in a paradise earth soon to come. Psalm 37:29. She is survived by three children, Lisa, Bryan (spouse Katherine) and Patrick Bass, her three grandchildren, Estelle, Veronica and Preston Bass. She is also survived by three siblings Steve Lynch, Margaret Rogers, and Mike Lynch (spouse Michelle) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
