We have countless happy memories over the last 20 years, not only as neighbors and parents, but as friends. The conversations with Rick were never boring, and never difficult; he knew so much about so many things. He was humble and wise, so respectful of his fellow human beings, he addressed everyone as sir and ma'am, and he raised his children to be just as respectful. He knew his way around the kitchen, and we were lucky enough to have shared the finished product on occasion! He will be truly missed, until we meet again.

My memories of Ricky go back to Turkey Creek First Baptist Church when we were kids and Turkey Creek Trojans, I actually quit that year of Trojans because I was playing on a team full of Ricky Cetos that was way bigger than me. We always got along and I remember him to be a good person. This picture was from JS Robinson when we were in second grade, I wasn't in his class.

I talked to Ricky every day. It was such a joy to hear him laugh and give words of appreciation to the nurses and doctors caring for him. Even when he was in great pain, he was kind and considerate. He loved his family so much, telling me family stories with such pride. Every time I would ask for his prayer requests, he would always mention his parents, kids, and extended family that they would know, love, and follow The Lord. Ricky loved Jesus. He was ready to meet Him face to face. Ricky lived in great pain, but he made sure that in his pain Jesus was glorified. I miss my friend and our talks, but I am comforted to know I will see him again.

So glad our boys became such good friends and our families grew closer! Thank you for treating Justin as one of your own! We will miss you as we’re blessed to call you friend. As hard as it is for us left behind we know you are in a better place, pain free and walking the streets of gold. Until we meet again.
