Calvin Howe

Calvin was born in Brattleboro Vermont, and passed away on June 02, 2020 at the age of 89 peacefully in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Calvin was a proud member of the United States Coast Guard. He was married to Judith Howe, the love of his life. He was employed by the City of Fort Lauderdale for over 30 years. He retired as the Director of Building, Zoning and Occupational Licensing.

Calvin loved the game of golf. He also enjoyed traveling to Sanibel Island and to Key West. Calvin was involved in both the Masons and the Shriners organization.

Calvin was a loving and devoted father. Calvin is survived by his son Wayne Howe and his wife Suzanne and his daughter Tracey Harris and his grandchildren Cali, and Cameron Harris, his sister Marilyn Johnson, his step-daughter Dianne and her husband David, and their children Brad and Reilly.

Calvin was preceded in death by his wife Judith Howe, his sisters Arlene Williams, Doris Smith and Lorraine Sevold, his brother Lester Howe, and his parents Lester and Maud Howe.

A Celebration to honor Calvin's Life will be held at a later date, and will be announced by the family.
