

A lifelong resident of North Providence, she was daughter of the late Peter and Gertrude (Quilty) Cambio.
Pauline worked for the Town of North Providence for 45 years retiring in 1995 as the Town’s Clerk for 21 years. She was a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, the R.I. City and Town Clerks Associations, the New England Association of City and Town Clerks, the Sal Mancini Women’s Action Committee, North Providence Democratic Women’s Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lymansville Volunteer Fire Co.
She was the mother of Frank R. Andre (Ret. NPFD) and his wife Joanne and the late Ricky Andre; sister of the late Peter Cambio and sister in law of Joyce (Galli) Cambio.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston, followed by graveside burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to the Our Lady of Grace Church Memorial Fund.
