Diane Elizabeth (Glancey) DeStefano, 50, of Morgantown, PA entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born August 7, 1970 in Drexel Hill, PA she was the cherished daughter to Thomas and Irene (Desidero) Glancey.
Diane attended Cabrini University, and received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology and, her
Masters of Science Degree in experimental psychology from Villanova University.
Diane made a career as a market researcher for over 22 years. She worked at various companies including, but not limited to Phoenix Marketing International and Transamerica.
Diane was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Frazer, PA.
Diane enjoyed crocheting. Friends and family have benefitted from her talent in the form of blankets, doilies and other craft items she made over the years. She was also an avid reader and her favorite book was 'The Age of Innocence' by Edith Wharton, which she read many times. However above all else, Diane absolutely treasured spending quality time with the her loving family and dogs.
A beautiful woman with a heart too big to describe, Diane's kindness, intelligence, compassion and contagious optimistic energy, touched all blessed enough to know her. She was truly a joy to know and she will deeply be missed.
In addition to her parents, Diane's spirit will be carried on by her beloved husband, John M. DeStefano; daughter Rachel Diane DeStefano; step son Mark Daniel DeStefano and sister Renee Middlesworth. Diane also leaves behind her faithful companions Mulligan and Jax to cherish her memory.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, Reiffton. Family & friends will gather and remember Diane Friday, February 19, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Aumans Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd. Reiffton, PA 19606.
Funeral service at Covenant Presbyterian Church and burial at Philadelphia Memorial Park will be private and at the convenience of Diane's family. A celebration of Diane's life will be scheduled at a later date.
