Born in Reading on August 29, 1960, Tracy was a son of the late Donald Paul and Betty Lou (Wentzel) Griffith. He was a 1979 graduate of Mount Penn High School.
Tracy was currently employed with Interstate Container as a maintenance electrician. Prior to that, he worked for ABBI Electric as an electrician for several years.
He was member of the United Steel Workers Union, the Stony Creek Athletic Association and the Lower Alsace Fire Co. Tracy was proud of his father’s service for our country and became a social member of the American Legion Post 246 in Betterton, MD, where the family had a vacation home.
In addition to his fiancé, Heather, Tracy is survived by a daughter, Rita McCoy; a sister, Donna L. (Griffith) Campoli and her husband, Albert; a brother, Michael P. Griffith; one niece; two nephews; his faithful dog, Archie; his loving cat, Trouble; and many friends here in Reading and friends in Betterton, MD.
Services for Tracy will be at 6pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. A viewing will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 4 to 6pm.
