John Cook Calhoun, age 89, of Farmington, died December 10, 2010, at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born on November 27, 1921, in Orlando, Florida, to the late Hugh and Lula (Childers) Calhoun. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant.
Survivors include his wife, Lola (Browne) Calhoun; children, Diana Johnson and Bettye Zette of Florida, and James Calhoun of Maumelle; eleven grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home in downtown Rogers.
