Terrence Michael O'Neill

Terrence Michael O’Neill, M.D, age 79, passed away March 27, 2018 at Freedom Plaza, Sun City Center, Florida. Terry was born on December 5, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Ursula (Navarre) and Marcus O’Neill. Terrence graduated from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio with a degree in Pre-medical studies in 1961; medical school, State University of New York in 1965; Practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Springfield, Mass from 1970-1999.

Terry held numerous medical hospital appointments as well as hospital organization responsibilities. He was very civic and politically active, holding many elected and appointed positions in West Springfield, Ma. and Vermont. He was also the Past Grand Knight in Hilton Head SC Knights of Columbus.

Terry is survived by his wife, Roberta Dawson O’Neill; daughter, Darcy O’Neill Jaskwhich and her husband Dr. David Jaskwhich; sons, Sean Patrick O’Neill and his spouse Sara Jane O’Neill, Devin Michael O’Neill and his spouse, Dr. Melissa Warendorf O’Neill; siblings, Kathleen O’Neill, George O’Neill and Timothy O’Neill; grandchildren, Emily, McKinney, Jacob, Elizabeth, Caitlin, Devin, Brooke Sean and Shay.

The O’Neill Family requests memorial contributions be made in Terry’s name to Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF), Westchester/Fairfield/Hudson Valley Chapter, 200 Connecticut Ave, Suite 4E, Norwalk, CT 06854 or National Shrine of St. Jude Claretain Missionaries, 205 W Monroe Street, Chicago, Ill 60680-4837.

Family and friends are welcomed for a memorial service on Thursday, April 12, 2018, 10:00 AM at Freedom Plaza, 4th Floor Auditorium, 1010 American Eagle Blvd, Sun City Center, Fl 33573 and Mass of Christian Burial with Knights of Columbus procession on Saturday April 14, 2018, 10:30 AM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 38 St. Gregory Dr, Bluffton, South Carolina 29909.
