I enjoyed working with Ray for well over 30 years utilizing his talented architectural services. A visit to his office was always part business and part friendly chats solving many world issues! Well we tried. In more recent years since his well earned retirement Deb and I enjoyed non-business chats and dinners along with Jennie and Marge. Ray was a kind and gentle man who always met his obligations working long hours if needed. He could always be counted on as an architect and a friend. He left this world with hundreds of well designed structures and even more friends who respected and loved him.

A grandpa’s ❤️ One thought that comes to mind. 15 years ago i was shopping at Cub foods with a 6 month old baby, i attempted to try out the self check out line , i had about 40 items . So , half way through it , i was like forget this !!! Then i gathered all my groceries and move to the checkout line , as the cashier was scanning my items they we’re having a conversation about me (thinking i stole the groceries) after confronting her and her coworker and giving them a talking too , i left . When i got home , i called my grandma but reached my grandpa instead i explain what just happened . My grandpa consoled me over the phone as grandpas do and then he wrote a three-page letter to Cub corporation on how disappointed he was that his granddaughter was treated in such a way . Grandpa thanks for so- many memories you gave me and my children Halloween, Christmas, birthdays , dinners or just a grandfather’s time. You will be deeply missed ❤️ Satcher family
