Helen Steele Royall passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in Bountiful, Utah. What a reunion!
Mother was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 17, 1916 to Alexander Steele and Georgina Gordon Campbell. She was the second of six children.
Mother married her high school sweetheart, J. Daniel Royall on September 17, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were the parents of three children, Barbara (James) Batchelor, Pat (Arlin, deceased) Casperson, and Dan (Connie) Royall.
She graduated from West High School and taught comptometer at Steven Henegar’s College. Mother took pride in her homes and yards. She loved flowers of every variety and color. Tulips, primroses, daffodils, and roses flourished in her three new homes. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was a primary teacher and sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband J. Daniel Royall, parents, all siblings-Marian, Irene, Gordon, Max, and Doug, son-in-law Arlin Casperson and great-grandson Conor James Batchelor. She is survived by her children and sister-in-law Edith G. Steele. Her legacy of honesty, hard work, reliability and determination will continue in the lives of her twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC, UT. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the graveside services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
