He was also an amazing grandfather to five grandchildren, Thalia Tran, Jazmine Arce, Luis Arturo Arce, Adrian Arce and Fernando Arce Jr; and a good brother to his sister, Rosario.
Jose Luis enjoyed living life to the fullest, although he encountered many health challenges in his later years, he overcame them with great courage and optimism. He enjoyed music from Javier Solis and many other Hispanic singers, and could often be found dancing to the rhythm of some of his favorites. He had a passion for the beach, and whenever possible he would choose it as a vacation destination. He was nicknamed, "Yiyo," or "Yiyito," by his beloved daughter, Miriam, when she was very young. The nickname stayed with him till he passed and was used by all family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sara and Antonio Arce, and brother Antonio Arce Jr.
"The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy." Stay positive as you always were up in heaven, our dear and loving Yiyo. Till we see you again!
