Arrangements under the direction of JohnsonCelia “Mema” Martinez, 72, of Colorado City, died at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 6, 2010, at her home. She was born October 01, 1938, in Bastrop, TX to Tomas and Esther Castillo from Colorado City. Memorial visitation service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Johnson’s Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX. Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday Morning, Nov. 9th, 2010. Burial to be held at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens followed by a luncheon gathering at Fuente De Agua Viva at 1601 Hatcher, San Angelo , Tx. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Celia ( Sally) was married to Emilio Martinez for 50 years. Survivors include one son Noe and wife Anna Martinez of Hurst, Tx. And three daughters, Sylvia Martinez, Esther Perez and husband Albert, Patricia Griner and husband Ramon all of San Angelo. Five grandsons and one granddaughter. Celia has 3 surviving sisters, Carolina Campos, Ruth Orona and Hortencia Sanchez, and brother Johnny Castillo. Paul bearers will be the grandkids Brian and Brandon Rivera, Lance and Jarod Rivera, Aaron Griner and Tori Martinez.

The family of Ms. Martinez would like to thank the staff of Hospice of San Angelo for the loving care they displayed to their mom during her final moments.
