Lucita "Lucy" Ramon

Lucita was a fiercely independent woman and lived life on her own terms. Her hands were rarely still; throughout her life she enjoyed embroidery and gardening. She also shared her love by cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. Lucita never let any circumstance stop her from achieving her goals. She will be missed, but not forgotten.

In addition to her parents, Lucita is preceded in death by her brothers Manuel, Cipriano, and Margarito Mata. She is survived by her only daughter Helen Ramon; sister Mary Moran; son-in-law, David Ramon; grandsons Adrian and Cesar Ramon; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers Funeral Home 515 N. Main Ave. On Friday, August 3, 2018, the funeral procession will depart the Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. James Catholic church with interment to follow at San Fernando II.
