Crystal “Dixie” Price, 98, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at her home in Deland. Dixie was born on August 2, 1924 in West Palm Beach to Louis and Marie Normandin. In 1944 she met and married Jim, her husband of 70 years, who predeceased her in 2014.
In 1963 the family moved to Deerfield Beach where they ran a family business for over 30 years. In later years, Jim and Dixie relocated to Deland where they were members of the East Deland Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dixie is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Pope and Jane Spencer; her five grandchildren, Kim Linebaugh, Samantha Black, Justin Pope, Derek Call and Josh Price; and her six great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on February 18, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 170 Mercers Fernery Road in Deland.
