Noemie Anne Beaucluche, a beloved mother figure, sister, aunt, godmother, and cherished friend to many, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, at the age of 96, in Spring Hills Assisted Living, Lake Mary, Florida. She was deeply faithful in her love for God, devoted to her family, and recognized for her remarkable generosity. Noemie's life is a testament to faith, dedication, and resilience. Her legacy of love and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
Affectionately known as “Nono,” Noemie Beaucluche was born on December 21, 1929, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Therencia St. Vil and Catule Leon Beaucluche. She was the eldest of her mother’s children and the second eldest of her father’s children. Noemie attended Sainte Trinité School from kindergarten to high school, continued her studies through Brevet Superior, and later worked as an assistant teacher at the St. Vincent Center for Children with Disabilities.
In 1957, Noemie emigrated to New York in pursuit of greater opportunities. Determined and hardworking, she learned English, earned an Associate’s degree from Queensborough Community College, and, while working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at St. Clare’s Hospital in Manhattan, completed her nursing education. In 1970, she began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at New York University Medical Center, where she served with dedication until her retirement in December 1994.
In 1964, Noemie brought her younger sister, Alourdes “Marie Juline” Allrich Dorcean, to the United States after their mother, Therencia St. Vil became ill. Marie Juline was a teenager at the time, and their bond grew to resemble a mother-daughter relationship. The two remained under the same roof through many of life’s most significant milestones, sharing a lifelong connection rooted in love, guidance, and mutual support.
In 1994, Noemie moved to Sanford, Florida, to enjoy her retirement years near Marie Juline and her family. Throughout her life, Noemie continued to support her siblings and extended family in Haiti. Known for her generosity and encouragement, she supported everyone’s endeavors, especially continuing education.
Noemie is survived by her beloved sister Marie Juline, brother-in-law Michel, niece, Marsha Dorcean Cherichel and her husband Ulrick Cherichel, their children Michayla, Marleigh, and Manning Cherichel, her nephew, Michael Monty Dorcean, and his children Khloe, Kendyll, and Karter Docean. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, extended family members, church family, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Liliane Beaucluche, Elvire Beaucluche Adrien, Christianne Beaucluche Mervilus, Hosanna Beaucluche, and brothers, Jacques Beaucluche, Cherubin Beaucluche, and Jean Andre Beaucluche.
The family would like to extend special recognition to the Adrien, Allrich, Auguste, Baguidy, Beaucluche, Bercy, Charlot, Cherichel, Deramus, Desir, Dorcean, Duverger, Espinosa, Ganzy, Germain, Labrousse, Postell, Press, and St. Vil families for their love, support, and lasting presence in her life.
A Celebration of Life Service and burial will be held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 401 S. Park Ave, Sanford, Florida 32771, on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
