National Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held with family members at a later date.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth (Betty Jane), daughters Patricia Spencer (Sarasota) and Nancy Cole (Lithia Springs, Ga.) a son, Edward J. Bibo, Jr. (Fort Mill, S.C.) and his sons, James E.Bibo (Jamie) of Wilmington, N.C. and son Michael J.
Bibo a student at UNC Chapel Hill, N.C.
Other survivors include his nieces, Judy (Bibo) Nevens and Annie (Bibo) Murphy of the Chicago area and Kathy (Bibo) Hensley of Atlanta and nephew William Bibo, Jr. of Naples, Florida.
Ed was predeceased by his parents Eli J. Bibo of Chicago and Gladys Bibo of Chicago and Sarasota and his brother William Bibo, Sr. also of Chicago.
Edward spent his career in Sales and Management in the Automotive and Insurance fields while in Illinois. After retiring to
Florida, he then became a Realtor working for Strathmore Realty and also Modern Builders in Sarasota.
