L. Joe Joseph Conner

Rev. Conner lived and worked in Savannah during his younger years. He married Lois Watson in 1956. They had one son Paul Jeffery Conner, born in 1963.

Rev. Conner and his wife Lois surrendered to the gospel ministry in 1966 after college and seminary. Rev. Conner pastored churches in three states from 1967-2001. After retirement they returned to Savannah to live near their family. During this time Rev. Conner served several churches in the Savannah area as interim pastor.

Survivors include a son Paul Conner (Amber) two grandsons, Ryan P. Conner, and Michael J. Conner, brother in law, William Lee Watson (Debbie), sisters in law, Linda W. Smith (Eddie) and Brenda W. Boulware and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6 – 8 pm Thursday at Fairhaven Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Funeral Services: 11 am Friday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Interment in Hillcrrest West Cemetery, in Garden City, GA.
