

Martin Peter Nestich, 81, passed peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona on March 2, 2015. He was born on May 8, 1933 to loving parents Martin and Helen Nestich in Youngstown, Ohio. He went into the Special Forces after he graduated highschool at 18 years old. When he came back from the Korean War he married his first wife Margaret, in Germany, who passed in 2008. After graduating from ASU with a PhD that specialized in engineering, he was able to find a career with Motorola as the Head Engineer. He enjoyed fixing computers, gardening and helping others. A few of his favorite activities were golf, bowling, and watching sports. He is preceded by his parents and first wife. He is succeeded by his loving wife Carol Nestich; sons Matt and Mark; daughter Monica; brother Michael; sisters Agnes, Barbara, and Theresa; two grandchildren; five step grandchildren; two great grandsons; two great granddaughters. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Veterans POW’s fund. Graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257. www.greenacresmortuary.net
