Bernie was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 27, 1928 and passed away on October 2, 2004. She came to Seattle as a young girl and spent her childhood in the Richmond Beach area. She was with Van de Kamps bakery in Seattle for 20 years.
Bernie was a one of a kind person who cared compassionately for her family and many friends. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to Reno and cooking.
She is survived by her husband Terry, children Cheryl and Craig, daughter-in-law Janet, and the joy of her life, her grandchildren Noah, Faith and T.J.. Bernie will be deeply missed.
There will be a private family service.
