Juanita M. Garrett age 84 of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away May 22, 2012. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy & Joseph Winter of Canton, GA; brothers, Freddie McMurray, Gate City, VA, Jackie McMurray, Kingsport, VA, and Ronnie McMurray, Weber City, VA; sisters, Stella Boutt, Kingsport, TN, Jane Smith, Weber City, VA, Peggy Ball, Kingsport, TN and Rosalee Ervin, Weber City, VA; ; grandchildren, Anthony Winter, Jonathan Winter, Jeannette Stallings, Chris Garrett, Melissa Garrett and Nicole G. Riley; and great grandchildren, Casey Garrett, Abigail & Isabelle Stallings, Jesse Winter, Luke Winter and Joseph Stallings. Prior to Ms. Garrett's marriage in 1945 she worked for Southeastern Optical and Coal's Drugstore in Gate City, VA. She was married to William A. Garrett for 57 years prior to his death in 2002. The graveside service was held at 11:30 am, Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. John Baker officiating.
