He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Rand and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean; two sons, Steve Rand (Eddie) and Jim Rand (Wanda); daughter, Lori Freeman (Kenn) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Avenue, Spokane followed by funeral services on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane.
